Hello! I’m an author, a life-long educator, lover of books, photography and street art who is based in Edmonton, Alberta. My humorous cozy detective novel, Smeg was published in January 2026 by Rising Action Publishing. Check out my Blog to learn more about it!!
My experiences as an educator include work with Alberta Advanced Education consulting with post-secondary institutions. In the past I taught at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Education and in an inner city high school. I have published extensively in educational journals and presented at many conferences. To promote my book, The rose that grew from concrete: Teaching and learning with disenfranchised youth, I gave numerous media interviews and presentations to teachers’ conventions.
I love taking pictures of street art. There are so many great murals in Edmonton and a growing number throughout the province. While out tracking them down I often find other fantastic targets to photograph. Alberta is beautiful, from lakes and rivers to prairie and sunsets.
